Jenai Tidwell, MA, LPC-S, NCC

Jenai Tidwell is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a LPC Supervisor specializing in individual, couples, and family therapy. She maintains a private practice in Houston, TX.

With over 8 years' experience as a professional counselor, and as a graduate of Saint Xavier University specializing in Community Counseling, she is currently serving as private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients. She has also worked with inmates in individual and group settings at local county jails. Among her areas of expertise are depression, anxiety, self esteem, self harm, substance abuse, co-dependency, anger management, women's issues, adoption issues, and some play therapy.

Jenai is an interactive, solution-focused therapist. Her therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. She integrates complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, she works with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.If requested, a Christian approach is available for your session as well. Jenai completed her Master's of Arts at St. Xavier University in Chicago, IL. She then went on to do her practicum and internship working with children and families within the adoption process.

Jane Harrington Fowler, M.Ed., LPC-S

Jane Fowler is a Licensed Professional Counselor and an LPC Supervisor who has been working in the Houston area since 2007. She loves helping clients approach their problems in a new way that allows them to take control of their lives and feel empowered.  Jane works with adolescents, adults and seniors. She has experience with individual, couples, and group therapy. She has worked in multiple settings including partial hospitalization programs, intensive outpatient programs, substance abuse clinics, and outpatient treatment. She has also participated in research projects at the Houston VA Hospital and with Baylor College of Medicine, focusing on Alzheimer's and caregiving issues. 

Jane is a solution focused therapist who approaches the counseling process with openness and empathy. Jane also provides practical support and personal feedback to help her clients cope with life challenges. She takes a client centered approach to therapy and uses contemporary counseling techniques in order to personalize treatment.  She uses solution focused techniques, cognitive behavioral therapy, and goal oriented treatment.  If you wish, she will incorporate your religious and spiritual beliefs into the session.

Her particular areas of interest include: Women and family issues, couples therapy, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, stress relating to caregiver burden, infertility, self-esteem issues, adolescent issues, self-harm, and people and families struggling with addiction.

Jane graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with her Master's in Educational Psychology Counseling in 2007.  She completed her practicum placement at Maintenance and Recovery Services, an outpatient substance abuse clinic, in Austin, Texas.  Her Master's thesis was on adolescents and anxiety.

Jenny Ferguson, M.Ed., LPC
Jenny Ferguson is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas. Jenny is a native Houstonian and enjoys working with the people of her city. Jenny completed her Bachelor’s Degree at Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas with a double major in Psychology and Communication. Since 2006, Jenny has worked with individuals with neurological differences such as autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, mood and anxiety disorders and Tourette’s Syndrome. Most recently she has worked with young adults with differences to support them as they make the transition into adulthood.

Jenny has always had a passion for being in the helping profession. She has experience working with young children in a residential treatment setting, facilitating an afterschool program for at-risk youth, and leading grief support groups for individuals and families suffering from the loss of a loved one.


Education
Jenny completed her Master's of Education in Counseling at University of Houston. She then went on to do her practicum and internship at The Monarch School working with students in social develoment and exectutive functioning.

Leticia Bhola, MSW, LCSW

Leticia Bhola is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been practicing Social Work with diverse populations for over 8 years. Her areas of expertise include working with homeless families, low income and undeserved clients, people living with HIV/AIDS, pregnant and parenting teenagers, child protective services as well as geriatrics.

Leticia is a therapist who is passionate about her work with clients her clients. She is committed to empowering her clients to attain their goals despite life's adversities. She uniquely assists clients by implementing various treatment approaches. Leticia has guided her clients through issues related to depression, anger and stress management. She integrates a client's religious and spiritual beliefs and practices, if requested. Leticia also offers telehealth services.

Leticia received her Undergraduate degree at Baylor University, recieving her Bachelor's of Arts in Psychology. Leticia obtained her 
Master's degree in Social Work from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. She completed an internship at an outpatient sex offender treatment program in Brooklyn, New York and worked with teenagers at an after school program in Harlem, NY.

Carol Giardina, MS, LPC, CART

Carol Giardina is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with twenty-six years of combined experience in the fields of Counseling and Human Resources Consulting. She is currently serving as a private practitioner in Houston, TX specializing in individual, couples, family, and group therapy.
 
Carol is an interactive, family systems therapist whose career has involved clinical work in a myriad of settings including; not-for-profit agencies, partial hospitalization programs, intensive outpatient programs, outpatient psychotherapy, and career counseling / life transition coaching in both the public and private sectors.
 
She has counseled a wide range of individuals and families to include children, adolescents, single parents, blended families, self-referred adults, and mandated clientele. As a highly experienced clinician, she presents with a strong foundation in multiple therapeutic and intervention best practices calibrating strategic psychotherapeutic modalities to the needs of the client.

Jamila Boyd, MA, LPC-S

Jamila is a Licensed Professional Counselor and LPC Supervisor with over ten years of experience.  She has worked with many populations including college students, adolescents, children, families, couples, and adults dealing with depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, trauma, grief, and adjustment disorders to name a few.  She is currently serving as a private practitioner in Houston, TX specializing in individual, couples, family, and group therapy.                                                        

Jamila utilizes a multi-modal therapeutic approach to helping clients deal with challenges in life.  She believes we all experience times of emotional highs and lows and difficulty with making decisions. She strives to provide a safe and nonjudgmental environment in which she and clients work collaboratively towards therapeutic goals.  She believes counseling can be an invaluable tool in helping people on their journey.

Jamila received a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, TX.  She completed her internship at the Counseling Center on Sam Houston’s campus while working with young adult students, faculty, and community members.

Anne Russey, MEd, LPC-S

Anne Russey feels privileged to be practicing therapy in her hometown of Houston, TX. Anne is a Licensed Professional Counselor and an LPC-Supervisor who approaches therapy from a client centered and strengths based perspective. Anne looks forward to providing a safe, supportive and affirming space for you to explore, grow and achieve the goals we will collaboratively set for our work together.

Anne will introduce new strategies to help you learn how to manage life's challenges and stressors. Anne has seven years of experience working with clients using cognitive behavioral and solution focused techniques to address a wide range of concerns including: mood related disorders such as anxiety and depression, effects of trauma and abuse, domestic violence, managing chronic illness including HIV, minority stress, problematic substance use and recovery, sexual orientation/coming out and gender identity. 

Education

Anne earned her Masters of Education in Counseling from The University of Houston in 2010. Anne completed her graduate internship at a women's center where she served survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault and spent several years working in a community mental health setting focused on general mental health, substance use, HIV, sexual orientation and gender identity.
