Sometimes you know something needs to change, but you aren't sure where to start—and that is a perfectly fine place to begin. Seeking support takes courage, especially when cultural expectations or family upbringing make it difficult to talk about mental health. My approach is centered on creating a warm, non-judgmental space where you never have to over-explain your background or justify your feelings. Together, we will work collaboratively to help you feel heard, build practical tools, and navigate life with greater ease.

Drawing from a background in youth mentorship, crisis intervention, and behavioral support, I specialize in helping individuals and families across several key areas:

  • Cultural & Identity Exploration: Navigating the complex interplay of culture, family dynamics, and personal identity with deep respect for your background.

  • Anxiety & Depression: Relief and steady guidance for managing overwhelm, persistent sadness, low energy, and emotional stress.

  • Neurodivergence & Skill-Building: Supportive care for children, teens, and families navigating autism spectrum disorder (ASD), communication, and daily functional skills.

  • Youth & Family Transitions: Empathetic mentorship and support for adolescents and families walking through periods of change or crisis.

Prior to my graduate studies, I worked as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) supporting children on the autism spectrum with individualized communication and self-help skills. I have also worked in crisis response—connecting families facing housing instability with immediate resources—and as a youth mentor supporting teens through identity growth. These experiences shaped my core belief that every person deserves a compassionate, culturally sensitive space where they feel truly understood.
