Unresolved trauma, family conflict and relationship concerns,

Have you ever found yourself caught in patterns that feel difficult to interrupt—repetitive thoughts, urges or behaviors, lingering effects of past experiences, or a sense that you understand what’s happening intellectually but still feel stuck? Therapy can provide a space to better understand those patterns, work through what’s underneath them, and develop practical ways to move forward.
Hello! I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate supervised by Jenai Tidwell, LPC-S. I work with adults 18 and older, with a particular focus on OCD, trauma and unresolved trauma, and compulsive thoughts and behaviors.
My approach is warm, nonjudgmental, and strengths-based. I believe you already bring important capabilities and resilience into the therapy room, and our work together builds on those strengths while addressing the areas that are creating distress or interfering with your life.
Depending on your needs, I integrate person-centered therapy with techniques from Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Mindfulness. These approaches allow us to work with both the challenges you’re experiencing now and the deeper patterns that may be contributing to them.
I am also certified in Brainspotting (BSP) and believe in incorporate this tool when appropriate. Brainspotting is a therapeutic technique developed by Dr. David Grand that can support the processing of trauma and other deeply held emotional experiences. Rather than being the focus of therapy itself, it is one of several tools we can draw from based on your needs, comfort, and goals. You can learn more about Brainspotting here.
Our work together can help you with your concerns with :
OCD: Understanding intrusive thoughts, repetitive patterns, and the cycles that can keep you feeling stuck.
Trauma and unresolved trauma: Processing experiences that continue to affect how you feel, respond, or relate to yourself and others.
